Butterfly turquoise and rust - shoulder bag for phone

Made of hand dyed organic cotton, this phone sized purse has been screen printed in black textile paint with an image of a butterfly and some sweet little cosmos flowers on a hand dyed turquoise and rust two tone background.

Being a gardener, medicine maker and artist using botanical dyes, the relationships between insects and plants has always fascinated me. We kept bees for several years and I became inspired to make a series of print designs about pollination - these are some of the prints out of that series.

This lightweight purse is handy for easily accessing a phone, passport, cards, cash, keys or other essentials quickly, and are great for travel.

* Hand dyed organic cotton fabric.

* Hand dyed rust cotton inner lining.

* Measures 8 inches high by 5.5 inches wide - will hold most smart phones - check your phone measurements before purchase.

* Closure is a zipper with adjustable shoulder strap and brass coloured metal slider.

* Stiff interfacing between outside fabric and lining.

* Wash by hand or gently in a machine with mild soap. Hang to dry and iron if you wish.
