Pollination - teal blue - phone utility purse

Made of hand dyed organic cotton, this phone sized purse has been screen printed in black textile paint with an image of a honey bee and a cherry blossom on a hand dyed teal blue background.

Being a gardener, medicine maker and artist using botanical dyes, the relationships between insects and plants has always fascinated me. We kept bees for several years and I became inspired to make a series of print designs about pollination - these are some of the prints out of that series.

Details:

* Organic cotton fabric which has been hand dyed in two tones, rust brown and blue.

* 100% cotton inner lining - hand dyed.

* Measures 7.15 inches high by 5 inches wide - will hold most smart phones - check your phone measurements before purchase.

* Closure is a zipper

* Stiff interfacing between outside fabric and lining.

* Bronze coloured metal clip on a 9 inch strap, easily clips on a belt, backpack or bag making this purse handy for accessing a phone, passport, cards, cash, keys or other essentials quickly. These are great for travel.

* Wash by hand or gently in a machine with mild soap. Hang to dry and iron if you wish.
