Butterfly - rust and blue - coin purse

This sweet little coin purse is made of organic cotton fabric which has been hand dyed and screen printed in black and silver textile paint with an image of a butterfly and a sweet little cosmos flower on a hand dyed turquoise and rust two tone background.

Being a gardener, medicine maker and artist using botanical dyes, the relationships between insects and plants has always fascinated me. We kept bees for several years and I became inspired to make a series of print designs about pollination - these are some of the prints out of that series.
Details:

* Colour - Brick red and blue. Lining is hand dyed brick red

* Organic cotton with organic cotton inner lining

* Measures 4.5 inches wide by 5 inches high

* Closure is a zipper

* Bronze coloured metal clip on a 3 inch strap, easily clips on a belt, backpack or bag making this little purse perfect for accessing a card, cash, key or lip balm quickly. These are great for travel.

* Wash by hand or gently in a machine with mild soap. Hang to dry and iron if you wish.
